Dept of First Year Engineering organized one week online Faculty Development Program (FDP) during 14th Sep-19th Sep,2020. All the registered Participants enthusiastically participated into online faculty development programme. Two resource persons invited for the FDP

Topic – “How to master English language without reading grammar”
Mr. Sarwan Singh talked on the topic ‘How to master English language without reading grammar.’ He focused on the following points:
- Importance and need of communication in English
- How to develop effective communication?
- English language and grammar
- Vocabulary development
- Need of the practice of spoken English

Topic: “English Tenses and Their Uses”
Mr Sarwan Singh discussed the following points:

Dr Milind B Pandit discussed following points in his talk :

- Sounds in British English
- The need of correct pronunciation
- Difference between British English and Indian English
DAY VI: 19/09/2020 Saturday, Time: 4.00 p m- 5.30 pm
Topic – “Syllable, Accent & Intonation”
Dr Milind Pandit explained following points in his dictation:
- Meaning of syllable
- What is mean by accent?
- Importance of correct accent
- What is intonation?
- The need of intonation for clarity in meaning
Dr Anushka Patil , Head , First Year Engineering Dept.convened the online Faculty Development Program and Mr S E Narwade coordinated the entire sessions
