Webinar on Tyre-An Engineering
A webinar was organized for the students on 5th August jointly by Padmabhooshan Vasantraodada Patil Institute of Technology and Apollo Tires. Apollo Tires Fleet Manager Shri. Arvind Krishna guided the participants on the design and production methods of tires, the importance of the tire industry in terms of the automobile sector and its opportunities. At the end of the webinar, the head of the research department of Apollo Tires, Shri. Shankar Ganesh answered the questions of the students. About five hundred students from Maharashtra participated in this activity. Due to the spread of Corona, the educational work of the college is going on online. However, Dr. D. V. Ghewade, Principal of the Degree wing and Mr. Bajirao Patil, Principal of the Diploma wing are constantly striving for the academic progress and enlightenment of the students. The coordinator of the R & D Cell Dr. Nandkishor Dhawale and Mr. Arif Bookseller, Head of Placement cell are taken special efforts to organize this webinar. In the guidance of Mr. N.V. Hargude Dean R & D Cell and Mr. Mukund Harugade, Convener of Innovation Cell, Mr. Sandesh Awati, Shri. Sheetal Gunjate, Mrs. Ashwini Lad carried out the coordination work.

One day workshop on Wireshark Lab for S.Y. B. Tech (IT) Students held on 31st January 2019 . Mrs. Vinayshree S. Akkalkot was invited as resource person. She has around 13 years of experience in networking domain . Aim of this “wireshark lab” workshop was to educate and inspire students responsible for managing, troubleshooting, diagnosing and securing legacy and modern networks, and to encourage widespread use of the free analysis tool. Broad content for this workshop were- Introduction to Packet Capture tools – Installing Wireshark tool – Testing IP, TCP, ICMP flow through Wiresharktool – How to capture packet and identify the MAC address of source host & the destination host in the LAN – How to use the trace route commands

PVPIT Budhgaon organised seminar on 18th January 2019 on topic ” energy Conservation & Audit ” In inaugural funtion, introduction and purpose behind the theme of seminar was given by Coordinator of Er. L.S.Patil The seminar was inagurated by watering the plant and garlanding & photo poojan of Saraswati Inagural Speech given by Dr. M.p.Hampali GWRP Tasgaon In his speech he give the information about the IEI & it’s activities in technical field & engineering . Prof.M.M. Wagh from PCRA Kolhapur delivered seminar on Energy Conservation & Audit. For this program Governing council Chairman P.L.Rajput Trustee Mr.Amit Patil Principal Dr.D.V. Ghewade express is g good wishes . HOD L.S.Patil, Prof.M.C.Butale & Manoj Chavan Honorary Secretary also the IEI Committee member Prof.S.V. “Swachhata Abhiyan” : In Civil Engineering Department
Swachh Bharat Abhiyanis a national level Abhiyan by the Government of India covering 4041statutory towns to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the Country; launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi, where Prime Minister NarendraModi himself wielded broom and cleaned a road. The Abhiyan is India’s biggest ever cleanliness drive and 3 million government employees and schools and colleges students of India participated in this event. The mission was started by NarendraModi, the Prime Minister of India, nominating nine famousPersonalities for this Abhiyan, and they take up the challenge and nominate nine more people and so on. Objective of the Abhiyan This Abhiyan aims to accomplish the vision of ‘Clean India’ by 2 October 2019, 150th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi and is expected to cost over 62000 crore (US$10 billion). The Abhiyan was described as “beyond politics” and “inspired by patriotism”. In order to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti, Birth Anniversary of LalBahadurShastri and International Day of Non Violence, a colourfulprogramme was organised in our department also. Dr.D.V.Ghevade sir, Principal of the our institution threw light on the sacrifices made by Mahatma Gandhi and LalBahadurShastri in getting India free. SwachhataAbhiyaninCivil Engineering department. Padmbhooshanvasantraodadapatilinstitute of Technology feels a privilege of becoming a part of the Abhiyan to clean India by beginning it at home i.e. our college campus and individual department. The major focus of the Abhiyan was and is to keep the surroundings clean and inculcate a habit in oneself and nearby to keep clean. The Abhiyan received a major participation of trustees, faulty members, staff and all students. The inauguration day witnessed a campus cleaning session whereby trusteesHon.AmitPatil,Hon,AdinathB.Magdum, PrincipalDr.D.V.Ghewade sir,all HOD’s Staff members in joint hands with students cleaned the whole campus area including the all department , gardens, canteen, parking,hostels and the main college areas. In civil Engineering department cleaning of outside area, gardens and corridors was carried out by faculty, staff and students. The cleaning of classrooms, laboratories and faculty cabins was carried out by NSS students, faculty and staff. EVENT DETAILS:- 9:45 A.M.
