- It enables the outgoing graduates to give justice to job assigned in electronics and telecommunication field.

- UG Programme in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was started in academic year 1985-1986 with 30 intake.
- The intake was increased to 60 in the academic year 1999-2000.
- The intake was increased to 120 in the academic year 2012-2013, present intake is 60.
- PG Programme in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was started in academic year 2015-2016 with 24 intake, present intake is 12.
