#PVPIT_Sangli Placement for 2020 batch is in progress and continue till this year end due to Covid 19. In this situation of Covid 19 lock down too, #PVPIT_Sangli is playing its active and important role of providing online education and placement to their students. Continuing this online interaction with students and training them with appropriate skills makes them employable. To talk about placement, it has always been on the forefront and one of the best amongst the engineering institutions in and around the region. Cipla, one of most renowned Indian multinational company in pharmaceutical, was associated with PVPIT for placement of 2020 batch diploma and degree #Chemical students. The company conducted online interview process using digital platform which started on 16th May & 19th May for diploma and degree respectively with the help of their interview panel consisting of HR. head and technical team. The process was exhaustive and completed by offering jobs to diploma and degree students on 1 June 2020. 35 students participated in this interview process. 01 diploma, 03 of degree students were selected through this online interviews. Students are supported and motivated by Chairman Hon.Vishaldada Patil and Trustee Hon. Amitdada Patil. These students were trained and guided by department faculties, T&P team, Prof Arif Bookseller and Principal Dr D.V Ghewade.

Webinar on Tyre-An Engineering
A webinar was organized for the students on 5th August jointly by Padmabhooshan Vasantraodada Patil Institute of Technology and Apollo Tires. Apollo Tires Fleet Manager Shri. Arvind Krishna guided the participants on the design and production methods of tires, the importance of the tire industry in terms of the automobile sector and its opportunities. At the end of the webinar, the head of the research department of Apollo Tires, Shri. Shankar Ganesh answered the questions of the students. About five hundred students from Maharashtra participated in this activity. Due to the spread of Corona, the educational work of the college is going on online. However, Dr. D. V. Ghewade, Principal of the Degree wing and Mr. Bajirao Patil, Principal of the Diploma wing are constantly striving for the academic progress and enlightenment of the students. The coordinator of the R & D Cell Dr. Nandkishor Dhawale and Mr. Arif Bookseller, Head of Placement cell are taken special efforts to organize this webinar. In the guidance of Mr. N.V. Hargude Dean R & D Cell and Mr. Mukund Harugade, Convener of Innovation Cell, Mr. Sandesh Awati, Shri. Sheetal Gunjate, Mrs. Ashwini Lad carried out the coordination work.

Entrepreneurship Development Awareness Program by DST NIMAT
6th consecutive year at PVPIT_Sangli we are implementing the DST_NIMAT project of Entrepreneurship_Development_Awareness_Program. This year it was conducted with overwhelm response from the students’ community.
Workshop on Entrepreneurship Motivation by Mr. Govind Oza
Mr Govind Oza was invited at PVPIT by Entrepreneurship Development Cell to interact with 250 plus students who were interested in Entrepreneurship. The full day session was interactive and based on vision, strategy and other important aspects, which are needed for startups. Innovative projects was admired by Mr Govind Oza who is Alumni of PVPIT.
